Yes, that was a reference to Florence and the Machine cause why the hell not!
As many of you may know, I recently moved from North London to South London, which for anyone who lives in London knows, that’s a pretty drastic move. Sadly, since I’ve moved here, we’ve pretty much spent most of it in either Lockdown or Tier 3/4; which means there are still many nooks of South London I have yet to explore.
However, as we made our way into 2021, I decided to explore as much of my like nugget of South London as I could (obviously on foot). I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favourite spots in the tiny section of South London I’ve seen and share any pictures I’ve taken over the last few months.
I guess over the last two months, I’ve found a sense of solace in taking pictures and walking aimlessly around London. There’s something very soothing about exploring on your own, with just your music to keep you company (or on the odd occasion a housemate). For me, taking that time to just be and not having to worry myself to death by thinking about university deadlines, coronavirus and just all the upsetting things happening the world, makes me feel like I can breathe. Like truly breathe!

Exclaimer: Masks were worn on all outings and I was maintaining social distancing at all times.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s post, I can’t wait to share more of South London with all of you!
Hope you have a lovely week!
