Hey Lovelies, hope everyone’s having a lovely week!
This week’s post is about one of my favourite parts of East London, Shoreditch, also known as where all the cool kids hang. A few months ago, I had a street-style shoot with the very talented photographer Shweta, and I wanted to share some of the brilliant pictures we took whilst we were wandering around.
I have to admit I was quite nervous to go around London taking pictures because it can be quite daunting when you have people watching you, but honestly once you get over that and let yourself really enjoy it, then the whole experience can be quite exciting and fun.
East London has always been a part of London that I’m very comfortable with, probably because I grew up there. But saying that, as much as you think you know a place, I find that I always discover something new, especially when I’m not looking for it. I think knowing you may find something new, is just another incentive to explore your neighbourhood, even If it’s a new coffee shop find or a cute little charity shop.
Before we get into the pictures, I thought I would share some of my favourite places in Shoreditch for food and drinks:
- Genesis – lovely vegan café/restaurant with gorgeous pink interiors
- Breakfast club – all day breakfast with a twist
- Grind Shoreditch. – great coffee and lovely place to catch-up with friends
- Dishoom – one of my favourite Indian restaurants in London
Love Sharuni xx
