Sam Smith is BAE!!!

If I were to watch someone perform live a million times over Sam Smith would definitely be one of my first choices.

Watching artists perform live is always breath taking, especially if they’re someone you have been listening to forever. Sam smith wasn’t any different, in fact I don’t think I have ever danced so much at a concert before. For someone who writes a lot of mellow singer-song writer music, the kind of songs you belt out when you’re feeling a bit emotional, Sam Smith somehow transformed his music into a theatrical musical performance, where even the slowest of songs were mesmerising to watch.

Watching someone perform live is an experience in itself, but being able to see them interact and socialise with their fans is another experience in itself. Not all artists interact with their fans, especially in an emotional personal way, but those who do, go all put to make their fans feel loved, important and apart of the experience. I can’t say that I have seen many artists who haven’t personally interacted with their fans, but I can say that some are more connected than others, Sam Smith being one of them. Before kick starting the show, just after performing his first song, Sam Smith walked around every inch of his stage so he could say hello to all his fans, waving and smiling while doing so. That very moment, even before the show had started, I knew that Sam Smith was going to perform a show to remember, one that I would gladly see over and over again.

Having the chance to see someone as humble, funny and sweet as Sam Smith perform live is something that I will never forget, his presence on stage and his personality were as bright as each other. Thank you for making an evening one of a kind Sam Smith.
